Impacto de la pandemia SARS-COV2 en nuestros jóvenes

Abstract

Varias preguntas asaltan nuestra inquietud derivada de la pandemia del Coronavirus. ¿Cuánto estamos pagando por contener y mitigar sus efectos? ¿Cuáles serán las reglas del juego luego de mitigarla y contenerla? ¿Será que el mundo verdaderamente encontrará una vacuna pronto? Si no la hay contra el virus del VIH o la gripa común, ¿no será que deberemos aprender a vivir con esta nueva enfermedad, si acaso con tratamientos que amortigüen su impacto, pero no la curen? ¿Qué estamos aprendiendo todos respecto de la vida en aislamiento? ¿Cambiarán los paradigmas productivos y sociales luego de la pandemia? ¿Será cierto que habrá una época antes y otra después del Coronavirus? ¿O acaso estamos sobreestimando los impactos de una enfermedad más?

Several questions assail our concern stemming from the Coronavirus pandemic. How much are we paying to contain and mitigate its effects? What will be the rules of the game after mitigating and containing it? Could the world truly find a vaccine soon? If there is not one against the HIV virus or the common flu, will not it be that we should learn to live with this new disease, if at all with treatments that cushion its impact, but do not cure it? What are we all learning about living in isolation? Will the productive and social paradigms change after the pandemic? Is it true that there will be a time before and another after the Coronavirus? Or are we overestimating the impacts of one more disease?.
