Este texto es un intento de expresar, y eventualmente definir, la conciencia moderna del tiempo a partir de las dos concepciones principales: la del pensamiento arcaico, basado en los movimientos y los cambios de la naturaleza, y la del pensamiento ilustrado o racional, donde el tiempo aparece como una línea recta que no repite jamás.

This text is an attempt to express, and eventually to define, the modern conscience of time, taking into account two main ways of thinking. Firstly, that one formulated by the archaic thought, based on movements and changes of nature; secondly, that one became from the illustrated or rational thought, in which, time appears as a line that never returns on itself.
