El propósito de este trabajo es presentar resultados preliminares del estudio que se viene desarrollando sobre los procesos y los resultados de titulación en la Escuela Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad La Salle. Se expone el marco referencial que permite contextualizar la visión de la Universidad sobre la investigación y la formación inicial de los alumnos en ella, a través del desarrollo de las tesis de licenciatura. Además, en este avance se hace referencia al procedimiento metodológico cuantitativo, los principales resultados obtenidos tanto a nivel de estadísticas como de las temáticas y tipos de investigación a los que el alumnado más recurre. Se presentan al final las conclusiones y la bibliografía.

The task of this research is to show the preliminary results of a study that we have develop among the students registred in the School of Education of La Salle University, to encourage them to get their thesis. We present the referencial frame that allows the reader to have a clear vision of how the University works with the students to give them an approach to investigation through the work of their thesis. In addition, we mention the quantitative methodology procedure, the main results obtained at the leves of stadistics, that shown the most common topics, kinds of investigations and which one are the hat students use the most. The conclusions and the bibliography are presented at the end.
