Este artículo tiene como propósito analizar la extinción del dominio cuya institución jurídica consiste en esencia en la aplicación de bienes a favor del Estado vinculada a casos de delincuencia organizada, delitos contra la salud, secuestro, robo de vehículos, trata de personas y enriquecimiento ilícito, pero que, sin embargo, no debe confundirse con la confiscación ni decomiso de bienes.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the extinction of the domain whose legal institution consists essentially of the application of goods in favor of the State linked to organized crime, crimes against health, kidnapping, theft of vehicles, human trafficking and illicit enrichment, but that, however, should not be confused with confiscation of property or decomiso.
