Uno de los varios problemas que enfrenta la reforma en el diseño curricular de los niveles de educación básica y media superior en México, es el relacionado con la mediación de los docentes para el trabajo educativo y la evaluación del desarrollo de competencias de los educandos. A lo anterior se suma, la gran cantidad de materiales generados al respecto, en los que la Secretaría de Educación Pública intenta exponer desde un discurso oficial: qué son las competencias y lo que éstas implican para el trabajo en el aula (dado que la institución no presenta con claridad a los docentes a qué tendencias mundiales en educación responde la modificación curricular). Teachers education mediation in classroom work and students assessment of competences development are some of the various problems faced by the curriculum design reform on basic and higher education levels in Mexico. Added to the above mentioned is the major amount of materials generated for the matter, where the Mexican Ministry of Education (SEP, by its Spanish acronym) tries to present under official terms that it is the competencies and their implications for classroom work (as the institution does not present teachers with clarity to which world tendencies on education such curriculum modification responds.)
