Abstract
The essay is mainly about the “space management” in Mexico City through the period from 1870 to 1910. Here I can see how the social structures change by the force of a discourse, who wants to legitimate using the space for his own and private interests.
This kind of critic analysis allows me to look and
appreciate the mexican architecture of the late nineteen century, and also to understand the moment that produce a kind of city who establishes that only with his habitants, the history of his development can be told, using for the investigation: documents, chronicles and the textual narrative that emerges from the urbane analysis.
