The COVID-19 pandemic has suggested a change in food trends and habits that are likely to continue after the implementation of measures that have been taken to control its spread, including food safety and the risk that food may represent from their lack of supply, availability, access, as well as the implications of emotional stress on food consumption. Although there is no evidence to suggest dietary factors that may decrease the risk of SARS-CoV2 infection, it is known that having a correct diet, considering the selection and preparation of food, the frequency and amounts of consumption, are fundamental actions to shovel the consequences of lifestyle changes that the period of isolation or quarantine implies and the uncertainty that it generates. For this reason, the nutritional and food component during and after quarantine is a fundamental aspect for the development of estrategias and actions that promote a correct diet within a healthy lifestyle.es_MX
