Mecanismos para incrementar las competencias de investigación e innovación en las IES de la FIMPES

Abstract

Antes de proponer mecanismos conviene revisar cómo hace investigación la IES particular. La Misión no expresa a la investigación como un producto principal y visible de la función educativa. La sociedad no tiene la manera de demandar ni de medir los impactos reales de la actividad educativa. La Visión tampoco prioriza a la investigación como meta, y ni la menciona en su declaratoria de calidad. Ello es contradictorio y deja ver que la IES particular no está preparada para competir a la par de las necesidades de la sociedad del conocimiento. Por ende, hay vacíos en el conocimiento y se deja a la calidad un papel que no agrega valor. Finalmente, el ensayo propone mecanismos advirtiendo previamente a las IES particulares los cimientes requeridos para hacer de la investigación una actividad productiva.

Before proposing mechanisms, we should review how the University for–profit is doing the research. A lot of cases, the Mission has no a clear declaration of purposes about the importance to do research in class. There fore, the population of students and the community in general has not the opportunity to measure the real impact from the educational activities. The Vision, no gives priority to the research as a goal. And, neither mentions it in his declaration of quality. This is contradictory and shows that the particular IES are not ready to compete on a par with the needs of the knowledge society. Thus, there are gaps in knowledge and the declaration of quality only reaches a role that does not add value. Finally, this essay proposes the mechanisms to warn IES’s in the way to become more productive the research efforts.
