El cobro de impuesto a libros, colegiaturas y alimentos

Abstract

Se presenta un análisis acerca de la propuesta gubernamental de cobro de impuesto a libros y colegiaturas. Se abordan datos estadísticos del Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática (INEGI) para presentar el aumento de población joven del país en edad escolar, la participación económica de los jóvenes y sus ingresos. Posteriormente se presenta el impacto que sobre esta población tendría el aumento del impuesto al valor agregado en libros y colegiaturas.

An analysis of the government proposal of charging taxes to books and school fees is presented. Statisticdata from National Institute of Statistics, Geography, and Computing (INEGI for its initials in Spanish) ispresented to show the increase of young population at school age, the economical participation of youthand their income. Finally the impact on this population sector that increasing aggregate value tax in booksand school fees would have.
