Visiones competentes sobre... Competencias: aproximaciones pedagógicas

Abstract

Mucho hemos argumentado, a favor y en contra, sobre competencias... El término ya forma parte de nuestro lenguaje... Es tiempo que lo integremos a nuestro quehacer cotidiano... y que conquistemos, ya, sus beneficios. Ya forma parte de nuestra vida diaria; llegó el momento de que también se integren como parte de nuestro quehacer educativo. Ahí están... llegaron para quedarse... Aprendamos a “sacarle jugo”, a aprovechar sus beneficios... y a eliminar, o al menos reducir, los daños potenciales que pudieran implicar. Es necesario opinar racional y proactivamente en esta materia. Esto es particularmente cierto –y serio– cuando de materia educativa se trata... dado su potencial sinérgico, multireferencial y pluricausal... para bien o para mal.

We have had an important number of discussions in favor and against competencies... The term is already a part of our language... It is time for it to be integrated to our daily activities... and to conquer its benefits now. It is already a part of our daily life; the time has come for it to also become a part of our education task. There they are... they are here to stay... Let us learn how to “take advantage”, to use their benefits... and to eliminate, or at least to reduce, the potential damages they may imply. It is necessary to provide opinions on the matter both rationally and proactively. This is particularly true ─and serious─ when it comes down to education issues... given its synergic, multi-reference, and multi-causal potential... for good or for evil.
