Criterios hermenéuticos II: géneros literarios

Abstract

Un segundo criterio hermenéutico fundamental al acercarse a la Sagrada Escritura es la consideración del género literario. Un texto, cualquiera que sea, no solamente "dice algo" sino que lo presenta de determinada manera, de tal modo que quien lo lea, deberá considerar esto, pues en todo modo de presentar cierto mensaje hay una intencionalidad concreta (1). Es de suma importancia que, cuando detectemos un género literario en algún escrito consigamos inmediatamente cierta actitud mental ante el texto. Esta tarea no solamente es fundamental por los resultados sino también por el inicio, pues la Biblia no posee, generalmente, indicaciones de género literario previas a lo que nosotros podamos descubrir. Por lo tanto, la tarea del estudiante de Sagrada Escritura no es crear sino sobre todo detectar las maneras de transmitir el mensaje que nos presenta, ya que los géneros literarios pertenecen al campo SIGNIFICATIVO, pues a cada género literario corresponde también un contenido y un tipo de verdad. Su función es vital, pues, nos reclama y transporta de la literatura a la vida, de las ideas a la realidad, al sitz im leben (situación vital), nos enseña a colocar la literatura en la vida y a escuchar la vida en la literatura.

Some second fundamental hermeneuthic criterion, to approach the Holy Scriptures, is the literary genere. Any kind of text not only "say something," it also shows in it a characteristic way, so the one who reads it has to consider it, beca use in all the ways to shown some message, there is specific intentionallity (1). It is very important that, when a literary genere is found in some script, specific mental behavior should be taken immediately. This behavior is not only fundamental for the results, but also for the beginning, because the Bible generally has no indicativesof the literarygenera precedingwhat we can discover ourselves. Therefore, the due of the Holy Scripture's student is not to create, but to detect the ways to transmit the presented message. This is because the literary genere belongs to the "significative" field: for each genere a content and true are corresponding.1ts function is vital, because it claims and conducts us from literature to lite, from ideas to reality, to sitz im leben (vital situation), it teaches us to put literatura into life and to listen life in the literature.
